Howdy! It’s Harrison (he/him), founder and president of Leigh Debate. I have 3 years of experience in Lincoln Douglas Debate: recent successes include championing Lakeland 2025 in the Varsity Lincoln Douglas division and placing 2nd in Cal Berkeley 2024. Find me on the Varsity Policy circuit this year reading the K alongside my partner, Michelle.
LEIGH DEBATE is the fastest growing progressive debate team in the Campbell Union High School District.
Founded in 2023, our members have won prestigious awards at local and national circuit level tournaments including Cal Berkeley, Stanford, Georgetown, Lakeland, and Western JV.
The team is coached by Carlos Carrasco, a decorated debater hosting nearing a decade’s worth of experience. As a competitor, Carlos competed in the finals rounds at the famed Harvard, Kentucky, and Weber State tournaments.
Weekly meetings on WEDNESDAY at Leigh High School in the LEADERSHIP ROOM, after 7th period (3:30–5p).
